Kilauea Volcano

Valley of the Kings
You cannot possibly leave Big Island Hawaii without hiking to Waipo Valley also known as “Valley of the Kings”. This place is historic and considered sacred since it s home to King Kamahameha I. This was developed as the center for political and religious life in Hawaii. Aside from its being a historic place, the place also abounds great beauty like any other place. You can also explore this valley through van tours or horseback riding if you don’t feel like hiking.
Puukohola Haiku
If you want to discover the culture of Big Island Hawaii then visiting Puukohola Haiko is the answer. This is one of the largest temples in Hawaii. This is their holy place for worship which you can find in South Kohala. This place is considered to be the last holy building before the western influence spread in the place.
